A fresh addition to summer with strong poppy colours, punchy contrast balanced with vibrant refreshing fruits to simulate a summery vibe. The main challenge for this shoot was to make the drinks the center of attention while being nestled in a bounty of colours. For most drinks we went with something that contrasted it enough to make the drink the hero. For the mango-pineapple though, a tone on tone approach seemed far more appealing visually. The trickiest out of the lot was thee blue spirulina as it notoriously borrowed and reflected the colours that it was sitting on.

In addition to this we also tackled some luscious summer quenching shakes of various flavours. Unlike the smoothies, these didn't have the luxury of colour so the food stylist, Mary Kei, had to work extra hard to make them speak.
